Project kick-off meeting
Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS opened its doors to Carnegie Mellon University and Instituto de Filosofia – UP to kick-off Signo, an exploratory study that will generate a set of recommendations and a set of experimental prototypes, exploring the issue of values.
The main goals are to identify (1) how technology and data presentation in health communicate value systems, and (2) identify actionable principles on conveying value systems for the design of technology and health data. Signo will be developed in co-creation with healthcare professionals.
Besides being the coordinator of the study, Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS will carry out co-design activities with ophthalmologists, together with researchers in the fields of design, health and philosophy, to explore, prototype and evaluate technology and data representations for health.
